SAUERKRAUT SURPRISE CAKE | |
1/2 c. butter 1 1/2 c. sugar 3 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 2 c. flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. salt 1 tsp. baking powder 1/2 c. cocoa 1 c. water 1 (8 oz.) can of sauerkraut, drained & snipped Cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs, add vanilla and stir. Sift flour, baking powder, soda, salt and cocoa. Add to creamed mixture alternately with water. Beat after each addition. Stir in sauerkraut. Bake in greased and floured 9 x 13 inch pan for 35 to 40 minutes at 350 degrees. |
