BANANA SPLIT DESSERT 
1/2 c. butter, melted
2 c. graham cracker crumbs
2 eggs
2 c. sifted powdered sugar
3/4 c. butter, softened
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
3-4 med. bananas, sliced
1 (9 oz.) Cool Whip
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1 (4 oz.) maraschino cherries, drained

Combine butter and graham crackers and pat into 9 x 13 inch pan. Beat eggs well (4 minutes). Add powdered sugar, soft butter and vanilla; beat 5 minutes and pour over graham cracker crumbs. Chill 30 minutes (optional). Spread drained pineapple over mixture, then bananas, then cover with Cool Whip. Sprinkle with nuts and cherries. Chill 6-8 hours or overnight. Refrigerate for storing.
