PERSIMMON COOKIES 
Cream together:

1/2 c. soft butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg

Add:

2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. cloves
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. persimmon pulp
1 c. raisins
Dash of nutmeg and ginger

Mix thoroughly and chill for a few hours. Drop by teaspoons on ungreased pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.
