APPLE CRISP 
2 c. peeled, sliced apples
1/3 to 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 c. regular or quick-cooking oats
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
3 tbsp. butter, softened

Place apples in a greased 9x5x3 inch loaf pan. Combine remaining ingredients, mix until crumbly, and sprinkle over apples. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes or until apples are tender and topping is golden brown. Serve warm. It is also delicious when served with whipped cream or ice cream. Yield: 2 servings.
