POLISH CABBAGE SOUP | |
3/4 lb. lean pork, cut in sm. pieces 1 tbsp. butter 1 c. condensed beef broth 1 c. condensed tomato soup 2 soup cans water 4 c. shredded cabbage (about 1 lb.) 1/2 c. chopped onion 2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. paprika 1 bay leaf Dash of pepper 1 tbsp. sherry (opt.) Sour cream Brown pork in butter. Add remaining ingredients, except sour cream. Cook over low heat, covered, 30 minutes, stir often. Serve with spoonfuls of sour cream. Makes 6 servings. |
