LOUISIANA SAUSAGE COFFEE CAKE 
1 lb. hot bulk sausage
1/2 c. chopped green onion
1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
1/2 c. grated Swiss cheese
1 egg, beaten
1/4 tsp. Tabasco
1 1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. chopped parsley
2 c. Bisquick
3/4 c. milk
1/4 c. mayonnaise
1 egg yolk
1 tbsp. water

Brown sausage with onions. Drain. Add next 6 ingredients. Make batter of Bisquick, milk and mayonnaise. Spread half of batter in 9 x 9 x 2 inch greased pan. Pour in sausage mixture. Spread with remaining batter. Mix egg yolk with water and brush on top. Bake at 400 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Cool 5 minutes before cutting into 3 inch squares. Recipe doubles easily for baking in 9 x 13 inch pan. Can serve 50 when sliced into smaller pieces. (I find that 1 1/2 recipes of sausage filling is ample for double recipe of batter.)
