HOLIDAY CHOCOLATE CHIP
CHEESECAKE
 
CAKE BATTER:

1 1/2 c. unsifted flour
1/4 c. unsweetened cocoa
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. water
1 tbsp. vinegar

Blend together above nine ingredients. The batter will be thin. Pour this into a greased 8 x 8 inch square pan.

TOPPING:

1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 egg
1/2 c. sugar
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

Combine cream cheese, sugar and egg and beat until well blended. Stir in chips. Add the topping over the cake and swirl through. Bake 50 to 60 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool and cut into squares.
