GARLIC DILL PICKLES 
9 c. water
5 c. dark vinegar
1 c. pickling salt
Garlic cloves
Dill
Cucumbers

Bring liquid to a boil with salt. Pack cucumbers in jars with 1 clove of garlic and head of dill.

Pour hot solution over and seal immediately. Let them set 1 week in sealed jar before eating. If cucumbers are sliced, they make great hamburger pickle slices. This recipe is enough to fill 6 quart jars.
