BEER BATTER CHICKEN 
1 fryer cut up
3/4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
Salt and pepper to taste
3/4 c. beer
1 c. cooking oil

In bowl mix 1/2 cup flour, baking powder, salt and pepper. Add beer and stir. In shallow dish place remaining 1/4 cup flour. Add chicken 1 piece at a time, turning to coat. Dip chicken 1 piece at a time in beer mixture. In fry pan place oil and heat to medium temperature. Add chicken. Turn once. Cook until golden brown or about 45 minutes. Drain.
