BAKED APPLES 
4 c. water
1/2 c. sugar
1 pkg. red hot cinnamon candies

Microwave 6-8 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add cornstarch to thicken.

Wash and core 6-8 large Pippin apples. Fill center of apples with brown sugar and butter. Pour glaze on apples and microwave 10-15 minutes, depending on size of apples. May be served with whipping cream. Extra glaze may be frozen for future use.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
