MANDARIN ORANGE DESSERT 
3 egg whites
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. crushed Rice Krispies
1/2 c. powdered sugar
3/4 c. coconut
2 cans Mandarin oranges, drained
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1 c. sugar
1 pt. cream, whipped
1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding

Beat egg whites and cream of tartar until stiff. Add nuts, sugar, Rice Krispies. Pour into greased 9 x 13 pan and bake 25 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool. Whip cream and add powdered sugar and vanilla pudding. Pour over crust. Combine coconut and drained Mandarin oranges and spread over second mixture. Refrigerate 6 hours.
