NUT DATE CAKE 
1 lb. butter
1 lb. dates
1 lb. pecans
2 c. sugar
4 c. flour
6 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. lemon flavor
1 tsp. baking powder

Combine butter, eggs, sugar; beat well. Cut up dates and pecans. Add flour. Stir well. Add flour 1 cup at a time; add baking powder to flour. Add lemon flavor. Bake 2 hours at 250 degrees.
