RUSSIAN TEA CAKES | |
1 c. butter 1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 2 1/4 c. flour 1/4 tsp. salt 3/4 c. finely chopped nuts (walnuts) Mix butter, sugar and vanilla thoroughly. Stir flour and salt together. Blend in. Mix in nuts. Chill dough. Roll dough in 1 inch balls. Bake 10-12 minutes or until set. While still warm, roll in powdered sugar. Cool. Roll in powdered sugar again. 400 degree (medium hot oven). |
