TUNA LOAF | |
2 (6 1/2 oz.) cans tuna packed in water, drained and flaked 1 c. soft bread crumbs 1 egg 1/2 c. milk 1 tsp. salt 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce 1 med. onion, chopped 1/4 c. minced parsley 2 tsp. lemon juice 1/4 tsp. each pepper and thyme Mix all ingredients, except sauce. Bake in 8 x 4 x 2 inch pan which has been lightly greased. Bake in a 350 degree oven until firm, 50 minutes. Cool in pan for ten minutes, then turn out onto serving dish. While loaf in cooling, heat sauce and serve with loaf. |
