PEPPER STEAK 
2 tbsp. fat
1 lb. round or flank steak
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. minced onions
1 clove garlic, minced
2 green peppers, diced
1 c. canned beef bouillon
1 c. drained canned tomatoes or 3 tomatoes, quartered
1 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch
2 tsp. soy sauce
1/4 c. water

Melt in fry pan. Cut meat into 1 inch strips. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place meat, onion, and garlic in fry pan; brown. Add peppers and bouillon. Cover; cook 30 minutes. Add tomatoes; simmer 5 minutes. Combine cornstarch, soy sauce, and water; add to meat mixture. Cook 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Makes 4 servings.
