1 c. cooking oil
2 c. white sugar
2 whole eggs
3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cloves & nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
(Pumpkin pie spice can be substituted for cloves & nutmeg

Beat together the oil, sugar and eggs. Add the rest of ingredients and also 3 cubed fresh apples and 1/2 cup pecans which have been chopped. Bake at 350 degrees in a tube pan for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
