LEMON-FROSTED PECAN COOKIES 
1 c. (2 sticks) butter
1 c. powdered sugar
2 tbsp. milk
1 1/2 c. flour
3/4 c. cornstarch
1 c. chopped pecans

Cream butter, add powdered sugar, milk, flour, pecans and cornstarch. Blend well. Chill. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Shape cookie dough into small balls (1 teaspoon or more). Place on ungreased baking sheets and flatten slightly. Bake about 12 minutes. Makes 4 dozen.

FROSTING:

1 c. powdered sugar
1 tbsp. almond extract
1 tsp. butter (softened)

Place in center of cookie.
