3 lb. confectioners' sugar 1 lb. butter 2 lb. smooth peanut butter 2 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips (melted in double boiler) Combine sugar, butter and peanut butter. Knead until well mixed (dough like). Form into small 1 inch balls and freeze for 30-40 minutes. Using a toothpick, dip in chocolate, leaving a small area uncovered (about the size of small finger tip) to resemble a buckeye. Put on wax paper until set. Makes 6 pounds. |
