APPLE CRISP | |
7-8 apples, peeled, cored & sliced (McIntosh preferred) 1. Grease and flour a 9 x 13 inch pan. 2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 3. Put apples in pan. 4. In a separate bowl mix: 1 c. sugar 1 c. flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1 pinch of salt 1 tsp. vanilla 1 egg, well beaten 5. Pour ingredients over the top of the apples. 6. Melt 1 stick of butter and pour over topping. 7. Sprinkle with cinnamon. 8. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-45 minutes. Note: Delicious served hot with whipped cream and/or vanilla ice cream. |
