JEWISH NOODLE CASSEROLE 
1/2 lb. wide (1/2") noodles, cooked until tender
1 stick butter (1/2 c.)
1 chopped apple, deseeded, but not peeled
4 eggs
Pinch of salt
1 lb. cottage cheese
1/4 c. sugar
8 oz. cream cheese bar

Mix butter, apple, eggs, salt, cottage cheese and sugar; add to the cooked noodles.

Place half the mixture into a corningware dish (or pyrex dish). Break up the cream cheese bar into small pieces and spread on top of the noodle mixture. Add rest of noodles. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
