Great recipe. I used dried cranberries instead of raisins. Used Duke Mayo - since it has a built in tang. Outstanding...

I fixed this for a family supper of 8 people, and it was a 5 star hit by everyone who ate it. I will definitely prepare this recipe again.

Everyone requests this, I use the olive oil mayo and substitute Splenda for the sugar and sometimes I add celery 1-2 stalks if I have it and make it as broccoli alone or with cauliflower always good.

I changed up the recipe and added 1/2 cup of grated cheese along with bacon and used three cheese or regular ranch dressing, I also removed the onion, sugar and vinegar ! Very tasty!!

Always a favorite! Bacon is what makes it great. For salad dressing, I prefer Miracle Whip Light, so it's not so goopy-tasting. I also throw in a handful of sunflower seeds. For Christmas time, it's very pretty (and tasty) with dried cranberries instead of raisins.

Dressing is essential.. It needs to be clarified. It is: 1 cup mayo (normally use Hellman's), 1/2 sugar and 2 tbsp vinegar whisked together.. Instead of raisins, its great with red-seedless grapes, onion is purple onion, normally dash in some shredded cheese of choice (I use cheddar or Monterey-jack mix).. Bacon I would say is optional.
