RUTH'S MAKE-AHEAD BREAKFAST BAKE 
1 lb. sausage
2 slices bread, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
6 eggs
2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. dry mustard

Crumble sausage in a medium skillet. Cook over medium heat until brown, stirring occasionally. Drain well. Spread bread cubes in a buttered 12x8x2 inch baking dish; top with sausage and cheese.

Combine eggs, milk and seasonings. Beat well and pour over cheese. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Next morning, bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes or until set. Serves 6 to 8.
