BLONDE BROWNIES 
2 c. all purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. butter
2 c. packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped walnuts (opt.)

Grease a 13"x9"x2" baking pan. Combine flour, baking powder and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Melt butter; remove from heat. Stir in sugar. Add eggs and vanilla; stir until blended. Stir dry ingredients and walnuts into sugar mixture. Spread in pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Cut into bars while warm. After cooled, top with Cool Whip or your favorite topping. Makes 48.
