PATTY'S RECIPE FOR STROGANOFF 
1/2 c. minced onion
1 clove garlic (or garlic powder)
1/4 c. butter
1 lb. ground beef
2 tbsp. flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 (8 oz.) can mushrooms (or 1 lb. fresh)
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of chicken soup, undiluted
1 c. sour cream

Saute onion, garlic, and butter over medium heat to golden color. Add ground beef and brown. Add flour, salt, pepper, mushrooms; cook 5 minutes. Add undiluted soup. Simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes. Add sour cream just before serving. Be sure to have cream heated and stirred throughout mixture. Serve on noodles or rice.
