CHEESE NOODLE CASSEROLE 
1 large onion, chopped
1 lb. ground round steak
2 tbsp. butter
1 (8 oz.) pkg. egg noodles
1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, drained
1/2 c. stuffed olives, sliced
1/2 lb. American cheese, diced
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 can mushroom soup
1/2 c. milk, mixed into soup

TOPPING:

1 c. chow mein noodles
mixed with
1/2 c. cashew nuts

Fry onion and meat in butter and add all other ingredients except chow mein noodles and nuts.

Bake 375 degrees for 40 minutes. For the last 15 minutes put chow mein noodles and nuts on top.
