MARY ANN'S BROILED CHICKEN 
1 fryer
4 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. mustard
2 tbsp. honey
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. Worcestershire
1 tsp. lemon juice
Salt and pepper

Mix all ingredients except the butter. Use a pastry brush to coat each piece of chicken well. Place in a buttered baking dish and let stand 45 minutes. Heat oven to 400 degrees, dot chicken with butter and bake 20 minutes. Remove and baste the chicken well with the sauce, then broil for 15 minutes on each side basting and adding more butter if necessary.

You can make a lemon-herb butter by mixing your favorite herb with softened butter and lemon juice. For a spicy addition use red pepper or cayenne.
