PESTO SAUCE 
2 c. fresh basil leaves, packed
1/3 c. pignoli (pine nuts) - optional
11 lg. garlic cloves, chopped
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. olive oil
1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese

Finely chop the basil, pignoli, garlic and salt in a food processor. With the food processor running, add the oil in a slow steady stream through the feed tube, until the mixture is thoroughly blended. Transfer to a bowl. Fold in cheese. Toss together with hot pasta and enjoy!
