PESTO SAUCE 
4 lg. cloves garlic
1 c. fresh basil leaves
1/4 c. pine nuts
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. olive oil
1/4 c. grated Romano cheese

Peel garlic. Combine garlic, basil, nuts, and salt in blender jar. Blend at low speed until ingredients are fine and form a paste. Gradually add oil alternately with cheese, blending until well mixed. Use on pasta or flavor soups and sauces. To store, put in a jar and cover with a layer of oil. Cover tightly and refrigerate.
