PECAN TEA CAKES | |
1 c. butter 3 c. powdered sugar 1 tbsp. water 1 tsp. vanilla 2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour 1 c. chopped pecans Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Beat butter and 1/2 sugar in large bowl. Add water and vanilla. Gradually add flour and nuts beating until well mixed. Refrigerate for 30 minutes. Roll dough into 1 inch balls. Cook on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Roll cookies in powdered sugar and let cool. |
