NEVER FAIL SUGAR COOKIES 
3/4 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter and sugar, beat in eggs and vanilla. Add baking powder and flour, 1 cup at a time. Dough will be stiff. Divide dough in half. Roll out on floured surface to 1/8 inch thick. Flour cookie cutters and cut out desired shapes. Bake at 400 degrees for 6-7 minutes. Cookies can be decorated with sprinkles before baking, or frosted after baking.
