DANISH PORK CHOPS 
6 center cut pork chops, well trimmed
2 med. potatoes, peeled & quartered
2 chicken bouillon cubes
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. curry powder
Dash pepper
1 c. coarsely chopped apple
1 tbsp. lemon juice
Liquid sugar substitute (optional)

In large, heavy skillet, brown pork chops on both sides. Drain off fat. Add potatoes, bouillon cubes, salt, curry powder, pepper and two cups water. Cover and simmer 45 minutes or until chops are almost tender. Add apples and lemon juice. Simmer 15 minutes more. Just before serving, stir in a few drops of sugar substitute if desired. Makes six servings, with about 290 calories each.
