KIELBASSI-LENTIL SOUP 
1 lb. turkey Kielbassi
1 lb. lentils
1 lb. carrots
1 c. chopped celery
Salt & pepper to taste
1 c. chopped onions
1/2 lb. chopped bacon
1 (15 oz.) can chopped tomatoes or tomato sauce

Pare and slice carrots. Fry bacon. Add carrots, celery and onions. Cook 10 minutes on low heat.

Rinse lentils well. Cook one hour. Drain off water and replace with fresh water. Add kielbassi and bacon-vegetable mixture. Cook one hour. When full cooked, add tomatoes or tomato sauce and seasonings and heat another 20 minutes.

Can also be made in a crock pot. Put everything in for six hours except tomatoes or tomato sauce. Add this when thoroughly cooked and heat another 20 minutes.
