MOCK PECAN PIE 
1 c. Post Grapenuts cereal
1 c. light brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 c. melted butter
3 eggs, beaten
3/4 c. lukewarm water
1 c. dark Karo corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
Pinch of salt
1 (9 inch) unbaked pie shell

Soak Grapenuts in water until water is absorbed. Combine sugar, syrup, butter and salt in saucepan. Bring to boil. Stir until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat. Beat eggs until foamy. Add small amount of hot mixture to eggs. Mix well and add rest of syrup and other ingredients. Bake 40-50 minutes, 375 degrees.
