ITALIAN PIE 
1 lb. lean ground beef
8 oz. spaghetti, cooked and drained
3 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
2 beaten eggs
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
1 (8 oz.) can undrained tomatoes
16 oz. can tomato paste
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tsp. salt
1 c. sm. curd cottage cheese
1/2 c. Mozzarella cheese
1 tsp. paprika
1 tsp. parsley flakes

Cook spaghetti; drain well, then stir in butter, Parmesan cheese and eggs. Mix well and press into a buttered pie pan to form a crust.

Brown beef with onion and green pepper (drain). Stir in tomatoes, paste, sugar, oregano, garlic powder, minced garlic and salt.

Spread cottage cheese over spaghetti crust. Spread meat filling over cottage cheese and bake 20 minutes in 350 degree oven. Then combine Mozzarella cheese, paprika and parsley and sprinkle over top and bake another 5-8 minutes until cheese melts. 6 servings.
