NORWEGIAN FLAT BREAD | |
2 c. whole wheat flour 2 c. Ralston cereal 2 c. white flour 1/2 c. sugar 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. salt 1/2 c. shortening Work the above like pie crust dough. Add enough buttermilk to make a dough. Fry like lefse, they must be dry. Keep in a box. Mom makes this every Christmas. It is Great Grandma Berge's Recipe and a tradition in Dad's childhood. |
