BANANA NUT BREAD 
1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. shortening (1 stick)
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
3 ripe bananas
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Cream flour, shortening and sugar together in large mixing bowl. Add eggs along with beaten and mashed bananas. Stir in vanilla and baking soda. Mix well. Add nuts,

Bake at 350°F for 1 hour.
