1 egg, beaten
1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
Pinch of salt
1 c. apples, chopped
1/2 c. pecans or walnuts, chopped
1/2 c. dates, chopped (optional)

Stir ingredients together. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes in an 8 inch well-buttered pie tin. Serve warm with Cool Whip or ice cream.
