BAKED SWORDFISH
2 lbs. fresh swordfish steaks
1 stick butter
Juice of 1 lemon
1 onion, thinly sliced
1/4 c. white wine Worcestershire sauce
1 clove garlic, pressed
1/4 c. mayonnaise

This recipe works well with salmon or other fish steaks. Place fish in lightly greased baking dish. In small saucepan, melt butter then add lemon juice, Worcestershire and garlic and saute a few minutes until garlic is golden. Remove from heat and blend in mayonnaise until smooth. Spoon over fish, cover and bake at 350°F for 30 minutes until fish flakes easily. If you prefer your fish a bit on the dry side, do not cover.

I made this tonight and this was pretty damn good. I was questioning the Worcestershire sauce (I used regular as well) but it was excellent! Thanks!

Recipe doesn't say what to do with the onions, so I just added them with the garlic. Also used regular worchestershire sauce. Was very good, will make again. Cooking time wasn't long enough for my oven. Fillet was 1" and still slightly frozen. Cooked it covered, then broiled uncovered to finish it. Broiling browned it up nicely, would recommend that for finishing.

Tried it, loved it. Used less butter, more lemon juice and regular Worcestershire because that's what I had, it was still delicious.
