GREG'S EASY BEANS AND RICE | |
2 cups dry pinto beans 1 (32 oz.) box beef broth (Swanson) 3 1/2 cups uncooked brown rice salt and pepper, to taste Soak the pinto beans in hot water for an hour. Measure rice into a rice cooker and rinse with cold water. Add beef broth to rice in rice cooker. Add pinto beans and 6 additional cups of water. Close cooker and set to "brown rice" mode. After rice cooker has completed it's cycle, fluff rice and beans. Season with salt and pepper, to taste before serving. Submitted by: Greg |
