CREAM CHEESE COFFEE CAKE 
2 crescent rolls (refrigerated dough)
2 (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg yolk

Place 1 roll of crescent rolls in 10x13 greased pan. Lay out flat and pinch together any openings. Mix cream cheese (softened), sugar, vanilla and egg yolk until creamy. Spread over bottom layer of crescent rolls.

Place second roll of crescent rolls on top of mixture. Beat 1 egg white until frothy. Spread over top of crescent rolls. Mix 1/4 cup sugar and 1/2 cup nuts. Sprinkle over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
