BEEF BARLEY SOUP 
1 lb. ground beef
8 c. water
2 beef bouillon cubes
14 oz. stewed tomatoes
1 c. sliced carrots
1 c. chopped onions
1 c. sliced celery
1/2 c. barley
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. pepper

Brown meat and drain off fat. Put meat into large cooking pot and add remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer for 1 1/2-2 hours or until vegetables are done.
