QUICK AND EASY VEGGIE BURGER
SOUP
 
4 qt. water
1 (12 oz.) tomato sauce
1 (16 oz.) bag frozen mixed vegetables
1 1/2 lbs. hamburger meat
1 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. thyme
1 bay leaf (optional)

Bring to a boil water, tomato sauce and mixed vegetables. Brown hamburger and add to soup base. Add remaining spices and simmer for 1/2 hour. Serve with biscuits or bread. Serves 6.
