KIEFLIES 
24 c. flour
12 tsp. lemon rind, grated
12 sticks butter, must use butter

Mix to crumbly with hands. Add:

4 c. sour cream
24 egg yolks, beaten

Make into small walnut size balls. Refrigerate overnight.

FILLING:

24 egg whites, beat until stiff
12 c. sugar, granular
24 c. ground pecans
Juice of 4 lemons

Remove dough balls from refrigerator about 1 hour before rolling. Roll paper thin in the same manner you would pie dough. Fill with a small amount of filling. Roll up in crescent shape and bake. If the filling pops through you have used too much. Sprinkle with powdered sugar while hot. You can cut this recipe in half if you wish.

Approximately 24 dozen. Bake at 375 degrees for approximately 10 minutes. I make these about every year for Christmas. A lot of work.
