40 - MINUTE BROWNIES 
1/2 c. sour cream
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 sticks butter
1 c. water
4 tbsp. cocoa
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda

ICING:

1 (1 lb.) box powdered sugar
1 c. chopped pecans, optional
1 tsp. vanilla
1 stick butter
6 tbsp. milk
4 tbsp. cocoa

Brownies: Cream sour cream, sugar and eggs. Bring butter, water and cocoa to boil. Add to creamed mixture. Sift and add dry ingredients. DO NOT PREHEAT OVEN. Grease shallow 11 x 16 inch cookie sheet. Pour batter onto sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Batter will be thin. Ice while hot.

Icing: Mix sugar, vanilla and pecans. Bring to boil the butter, milk and cocoa. Add to mixture. Put on cake while hot. If too thick, reheat or add 1 tablespoon milk.
