PEPPER STEAK 
1 large round steak, sliced thin while frozen
1 large onion, sliced long ways
1 sm. can mushrooms
1 can beef broth
3 tbsp. soy sauce
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 large green pepper, sliced into strips
2 tbsp. cornstarch
Cooking oil, small amount

Coat the pieces of meat with flour and fry in oil a few at a time until all of them are browned. Add onion and continue cooking until onion is transparent. Add mushrooms (liquid too), beef broth, and rinse can with water and add this. Add soy sauce, garlic powder, black pepper. Stir and cook. Mix 2 tablespoons cornstarch with 1/2 cup of cold water. Stir this slowly into mixture and stir constantly. Add a little more water if mixture gets too thick. Add green pepper strips and serve on hot, cooked rice.
