COUNTRY - STYLE BEEF PIE 
SHELL:

1/2 c. tomato sauce
3/4 c. bread crumbs
1 lb. ground round
1/4 c. onion, chopped
1/4 c. green pepper, chopped
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. oregano

FILLING:

1/8 tsp. black pepper
1 1/2 c. quick cooking rice
1 1/2 c. tomato sauce
1 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
1/2 tsp. salt

SHELL: In a large bowl, combine all ingredients well using a fork. Pat mixture into a well-greased 9-inch pie plate. Make a 1 inch fluting around edge of plate.

FILLING: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a mixing bowl combine rice, tomato sauce, water and half the cheese. Place rice mixture in meat shell. Cover with foil and bake 25 minutes. Uncover, sprinkle with remaining cheese and bake 15 minutes longer. Serves 6.
