CRANBERRY ORANGE BREAD 
2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. shortening (oil)
Grated rind of 1 orange
3/4 c. orange juice
1 beaten egg
1 c. halved cranberries
Nuts, if desired

Sift together first 5 ingredients; add rest of ingredients, folding in cranberries and nuts. Bake in loaf pan at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
