OLD FASHIONED CHICKEN PIE | |
1 lg. fryer, cut up Salt & pepper to taste 1/3 tsp. Accent salt Cook chicken until tender and remove from bone. Place 1/2 of chicken and 1/2 of broth in bottom of baking dish. Cover with small strips of pastry. Dot here and there with small pieces of butter. Add remaining broth and chicken, also a small amount of pepper and Accent salt. Roll remainder of pastry to cover top and dot freely with butter. Place in oven and bake at 350 degrees until golden brown. From 50-60 minutes. |
