1 c. brown sugar
1 c. shortening
2 eggs
4 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. oatmeal
2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. raisins

Cream brown sugar and shortening. Mix in eggs, milk, and vanilla. Mix baking soda, oatmeal, flour, salt and cinnamon. Add to egg mixture. Stir in raisins. Drop by spoonful onto greased baking sheet. Bake at 375 degrees. Be careful not to over bake as cookies do not spread.
