LEMON SUGAR COOKIES 
1/2 c. butter
2/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. vegetable oil
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
2 1/3 c. flour
1 egg
1 tsp. lemon extract or 1 tbsp. lemon juice

Press down balls of dough with sugared glass bottom onto ungreased baking sheet. (Some glasses have a design on bottom which transfers to top of cookie.) Bake for 8-10 minutes at 350 degrees. Makes about 30 cookies.
